Cloudy weather is not a concern, in fact, some of my most successful shoots have been when the sky is cloudy! Clouds can have a positive effect on lighting, evening out the composition of a photo.

If there is rain or a thunderstorm forecasted for the day of your shoot, however, I will always work with you to find a good day to reschedule.

Unfortunately, Texas weather can be unpredictable, but I try my best to watch the weather forecasts closely and stay in communication with you. So many times, weather forecasts will change or clear up all the way up to the afternoon of the shoot, so I prefer to continue to watch the weather until it's time for you to start getting ready before making any rescheduling decisions. You can expect to hear from me 3-5 days before your shoot with a weather check-in. If any forecasts are showing as rainy, we will decide on the best day/time for you to make a decision about rescheduling dependent on your needs. Some people may have hair or makeup planned, or have family members traveling from out of town, but please understand that anything can happen with the weather at any time! Other reasons for rescheduling include extreme wind above 30 mph or freezing weather. Clouds, haze, or fog will not require rescheduling.

If your shoot is in the evening, it's best for us to make rescheduling decisions about 3 hours before the shoot. If your shoot is in the morning, we will make rescheduled decisions the night before around 8 PM.

WHAT TO EXPECT - WEATHER RESCHEDULING

3-5 days before shoot: Weather check-in text

Day of: Watching the weather closely by the hour (75% of the time, the weather clears up in the afternoon), and making a decision about 3 hours before the shoot.

If we decide to reschedule, you'll receive a full list of rescheduling opportunities to choose from.

This is completely up to you. Some people prefer to stay in one look for the whole shoot, others have done as many as four looks.

If you hope to do more than two outfits for your shoot, I recommend booking a shoot for 1.5 or 2 hours. If you hope to shoot in 1-2 outfits, a one-hour shoot will be a good option for you.

Yes, bring all of the above! I would love to capture some shots with you and your loved ones.

The sooner the better! I recommend booking about 3-4

months in advance of your ideal photoshoot date, or booking

in the final month of your last semester.

It will take two week for your gallery to be returned to you.

If there are any delays on my end I will keep you updated.

A 50% deposit of the total cost is required to secure your chosen date. The other 50% of the cost will be collected on the day of the shoot. If the client cancels the shoot or is a no-show, the retainer fee is non-refundable. If I, the photographer, am unable to perform for any reason, all retainers and fees will be refunded. If any conflicts or bad weather arise, both the client and the photographer will work to find the best day to reschedule a shoot and make it happen!

My packages include up to 300 photos professionally edited, and a high-res, a downloadable digital gallery where you can use my online shop to order all kinds of printed items, or you can choose to print them on your own.

Color & light edits will be made to all of your images, but if there are specific edits you want (flyaways, blemishes, tan lines, etc) these will be charged according to the number and complexity of edits. You can request five photos with additional retouching free of charge, and beyond five photos I can make additional retouches for $5 per photo.

Yes, I offer opportunities to split sessions among six friends or more. You can check out the prices/offerings on the Pricing & Packages page on my website. An individual + group portrait session will allow your group of friends to receive individual shots, and then group shots at each on-campus location we visit. It' s a great opportunity to get all of the photos you need for a lesser price.

Yes! If you want to get shots with props, bring them! For champagne, I recommend a twist-off brand that will be easy for you to open like André, and I will explain the rest. Bring two bottles to make sure you get the perfect shot.

For confetti, there's a confetti cannon called "Crafts Graphty Confetti Cannon" that works amazingly for photos and is environmentally friendly.

Possibly! Once my calendar is completely booked, I will announce session openings or cancellations on my e-mail list.
